Dr. Phanice Okara, Dr. Anjum Omar, Dr. Paul Laigong and Dr. Diana Marangu participated in the ‘Training of Trainers’ course organized by the Department of Anaesthesia, University of Nairobi (UoN), in collaboration with the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). The course was facilitated by Dr. Mark Gacii (UoN), Dr. Dorothy Kamya (Aga Khan University, Nairobi) and Prof. Lesley Bromley (University College of London). This was a superb learning experience in which faculty members from the Departments of Paediatrics & Child Health, Anaesthesia and Surgery at UoN learnt how to improve their teaching skills including delivery of effective presentations, enabling interactive learning and optimizing student assessment.
